Mining is a key aspect of the Saskatchewan economy and is becoming an increasingly global trade. Join us for a discussion of the opportunities and challenges facing accountants working in the mining industry, including the impact of globalization on operations, mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, taxation, and financial reporting. Shawn, Derek, and other representatives from KPMG will be on hand afterwards to answer questions and discuss the many opportunities available in this exciting area of the accounting and finance profession.

Session is from 11:00am until 12:00pm, followed by a light lunch/refreshments and a networking opportunity from 12:00pm until 12:45pm.  Seating capacity limited to 45 participants.  While this event is geared for the accounting All students and guests from the community are welcome.
