Three established and respected business owners provide a candid description of their successes and failures.

NICOLA LAWSON - OWNER/MANAGER PICKNIC'S CATERING
Trained as a commercial baker at Edmonton's NAIT Institute, Nicola has literally taken her talents around the world as she developed her culinary skills. With stops in the Yukon, South Africa and Bermuda along the way, Nicola returned to her Canadian roots to join her family in Saskatoon. She opened PickNic's Catering in 2003 and has turned her passion into a very successful business.

CHAD FISCHL - CO-FOUNDER SHUTOUT® SOLUTIONS INC.
After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, Chad Fischl, along with his business partner, Dan Robinson, began working very closely with world-class scientists, chemists, doctors and toxicologists from around the world. Their goal? To create the premier brand of cleaning solutions in Canada. Mission accomplished, as SHUTOUT® hit store shelves in May 2008, after 10-plus years of scientific and herbal product development.

AARON LORAAS -  VICE PRESIDENT OF LORAAS DISPOSAL SERVICES
Aaron is VP with Loraas Disposal Services, a company started by his father, Bruce, in 1965. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Aaron is in many ways a typical second-generation owner, having been a fixture at the family business from childhood. He's worked in many different areas of the company, giving him a unique perspective as he guides the company into growing markets of waste management and recycling services.
