About the Hanlon Centre

The Hanlon Centre for International Business Studies prepares our students for an increasingly globalized business world. The centre consists of academics, business liaisons, and students mandated:

  • to increase the intensity of faculty research dedicated to Saskatchewan and Western Canada's international business;
  • to increase the number of international perspectives in undergraduate curriculum;
  • to increase undergraduate participation in international educational exchanges; and
  • to increase the number of international students at the Edwards School of Business.

The Centre provides a number of programs including our Visiting Consul-General Series, cultural and business workshops presented by industry and visiting faculty, and Going Global workshops designed by the Forum for International Trade (FITT).

These initiatives have been made possible by a generous, $2 million donation from Ted Hanlon, an Edwards School of Business alumnus, and by the efforts of our partners.
