"Every part of our lives has taken on a global perspective. The inspiration for the Anluan/Hanlon centre came from involvement in the energy sector. However be it agriculture, energy, fertilizer or politics, one must be aware of the need for education in the developing parts of our planet and the importance in our own education system for the understanding of cultures and the requirement for assistance everywhere." %7e Ted Hanlon
