Inaugural FITT Going Global Seminar Series

The Hanlon Centre for International Business Studies was proud to partner with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) to present FITT's Going Global training series. The Going Global series introduces UofS students to concepts like international finance, culture, and other aspects of global business. Students who complete the series receive a certificate recognizing their grasp of these Introductory aspects of international business.
The Hanlon Centre brings in experts from industry to teach the seminars so that students can also benefit from their industry experience. Students were introduced to:
- International Trade
- International Trade Research
- International Marketing
- International Trade Finance
- Cultural Aspects of International Trade
- Global Supply Chain Management
The first series went off exceptionally well, and was well received by more than fifty participants in attendance from across the campus. Fifteen students completed the entire series of workshops.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Centre's upcoming events. The Centre will offer the Going Global series again soon so new students can participate, and so students who were unable to complete the entire series will be able to get their certificate.
