Biography

Dr. Dionne Pohler is an Assistant Professor at the Edwards School of Business, and recently completed her PhD in Human Resources & Industrial Relations at the University of Alberta. Dr. Pohler has published in top journals in her field, including Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society and Human Resource Management. Her primary research interests centre around union impact on individuals, organizations and society. Her secondary stream of research focuses on the role of the HR profession. She has received a number of prestigious research fellowships and grants, the most recent being a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Standard Research Grant.
