Biography
Dr. Painter is a scholar in the W. Brett Wilson Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence. The centre provides entrepreneurship minors in a number of colleges at the University of Saskatchewan, conducts research in entrepreneurship and innovation, and offers outreach entrepreneurial training and services.
Dr. Painter has been involved in undergraduate and graduate level teaching, research, consulting work and executive training programs. Consulting projects have included economic development projects, business planning and feasibility studies, personal financial planning, marketing analysis, forensic accounting, and agricultural financial analysis. Dr. Painter has been involved in executive training programs through the Edwards School of Business, which have been primarily in the areas of feasibility analysis, strategic business planning, venture management and investment analysis, and personal financial planning.
Dr. Painter has delivered courses in the MBA, Masters in Professional Accounting (MPACC), undergraduate business, the Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program, and in the entrepreneurship minors offered by the Wilson Centre.
