Biography

Maureen Bourassa is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research is aimed at understanding respect – specifically, she is studying the meaning and impact of respect in the context of business-to-business marketing relationships. Maureen’s other current research focuses on corporate social responsibility and stakeholder engagement (i.e., how do socially responsible organizations successfully engage stakeholders, what are the roles of respect and power in this process, and what are the factors around adversarial stakeholder engagement). Her work has been published in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing, the European Business Review, and has been presented at numerous conferences.
