Maureen Bourassa is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research is aimed at understanding respect – specifically, she is studying the meaning and impact of respect in the context of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing relationships. Maureen’s other current research focuses on corporate social responsibility and stakeholder engagement - how do socially responsible organizations successfully engage stakeholders, and what are the factors around adversarial stakeholder engagement? She is a collaborator on two telephone survey-based research projects, one to understand the attitudes of Canadians towards the not-for-profit sector, and another to understand the attitudes of Saskatchewan residents and businesses towards the nuclear sector. Her work has been published in the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing, the European Business Review, and has been presented at numerous conferences.
