Edwards Career Services hosts open house for the Cameco Business Co-operative Education Program
Edwards Career Services hosted an open house for the Cameco Business Co-operative Education Program at the Prairieland Exhibition earlier this month. Over one hundred businesses participated in the event, including organizations like Federated Co-operatives, Wiegers Financial, Cameco and Claude Resources.

Spectacular SSHRC Success for the Edwards School of Business
Researchers at the Edwards School of Business have been awarded 7 of the 15 grants in the latest competition from Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), totalling about $363,000. This represents nearly half the $753,000 awarded to the U of S as a whole.

Edwards in Cambodia
Dean Daphne Taras and Adjunct Professor Allen Ponak provided intensive training to 35 arbitrators & professional staff at the Arbitration Council of Cambodia in Phnom Penh. At the end of the training, participants received certificates from the Edwards School of Business for completing the program.

George Dembroski gifts $1 million dollars to the Edwards School of Business
His gift will also allow the Edwards School to establish the George S. Dembroski Student Managed Portfolio Trust, adding Edwards to the number of other Canadian business schools that offer a Student Managed Portfolio program as well as supporting students through scholarships.
