Award Winning Edwards School Faculty

Release Date : April 02, 2012

Dr. Chelsea Willness has received the Innovative Teaching Award in the HR Division at the Academy of Management. Besides receiving a plaque and a $500 honorarium, she will also be given the opportunity to give a one-hour presentation on her teaching innovations in the classroom. Willness will present The Application of Service Learning to HR Courses at the Annual Meeting in Boston.

Dr. Dionne Pohler received a well-deserved USSU Teaching Excellence Award. The U of S Students’ Union accepts nominations from students in every college and follows up with classroom surveys to choose each year’s recipients. These awards are a rare honour, with less than 1% of U of S faculty receiving one in any given year.

Vince Bruni-Bossio (Photo Not Available) and Tyler Case were both presented with awards at the Edwards Graduation Banquet on Saturday, March 24th. Bruni-Bossio was named Most Effective Professor and Case received the Somers Award, which recognizes the most approachable professor. All Edwards students were eligible to nominate faculty and vote for the winners on PAWS.
