Edwards Builds for Habitat for Humanity
Release Date : November 29, 2012
For many years, our undergraduate students and key faculty members supported Five Days for the Homeless. This year, we went further, actually helping build a house in a Habitat for Humanity project. In chilly November, dedicated faculty, staff, and students built up the first floor of a house on Avenue G South from November 20 to 23rd. The Dean, who also built part of the subfloor, said, “And we agree we’d do it again (although perhaps in warmer weather!).”
