About the Business Administration Certificate
The Business Administration Certificate (BAC) was first introduced in 1970 and has over 2000 alumni across Saskatchewan and throughout the world. This part-time program acquaints participants with the contemporary business environment, language, concepts, and types of situations commonly encountered in organizations. Courses in the program meet certain requirements for professionals programs, including the Canadian Institute of Management, the Credit Union Institute if Canada, the Insurance Institute of Canada, and the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
Designed to be completed over a two to four year time frame, the purpose of the BAC program is to introduce students to the business environment and provide fundamental business knowledge in the areas of marketing, human resources, financial management, strategy, and more. The comprehensive core course load BAC students are taught analytical techniques and practical management skills to assist them in becoming effective managers., along with the exceptional instructing of the Edwards faculty, provide a program that is designed to meet student needs and provide adequate preparation for the demands of today’s business environment.
