About the Executive Business Administration Certificate
The Executive Business Administration Certificate (EBAC) program was first introduced in 2009 by Edwards School of Business, with its first class of graduates convocating in May 2011. The EBAC program was created to meet a growing demand from those who desired advanced business learning at the certificate level. Many students who had completed the BAC program or an equivalent program, or who had extensive business knowledge and experience, were finding that there were limited opportunities for further management education. Thus launching the EBAC program!
The EBAC program allows students to study executive business education at the certificate level. The program consists of 4 advanced business courses, which are taken over a period of two years. All courses are core – that is, there are no electives. The aim of the EBAC program is to provide advanced exposure in the areas of strategy implementation, decision making, advanced marketing, business plan development, and other business-related special topics.
Students who successfully complete all the requirements of this program will earn an Executive Business Administration Certificate (EBAC) from the Edwards School of Business.
Upon successful completion, students may use these courses as pathway programming to the Bachelor of Commerce degree program. This is consistent with the current BAC program. Students in good standing who have met EBAC program standards who apply and are accepted to the Bachelor of Commerce degree program will receive full transfer credit.
