Better serve your Not-for-Profit organization AND ITS MISSION.

Introduction & Background:

The NFP Governance Essentials Program (NFP Program), presented by RBC Foundation and TELUS, was jointly developed by the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

The NFP Program is an intensive 2-day program taught by prominent faculty and some of Canada's most accomplished directors of not-for-profit organizations. This innovative program provides learning on key accountabilities and responsibilities of not-for-profit leaders. A limited number of RBC Foundation and TELUS scholarships are available.

In addition to being offered in Saskatoon, the program is also offered at other leading business schools in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, St. John's and Winnipeg.

"Awesome program, I debated taking this program, but it has definitely added value. The board models and influencing change session were real highlights, but all sessions were top notch!" - Vern Bachiu, President & CEO, Triall Counsulting

Who Should Attend?

  • Directors and Executive Directors of small and large not-for-profit organizations.
  • To be eligible for admission, applicants should have either board experience, senior management experience, or professional experience.
