The essential ingredient for successful change.

Introduction & Background:

This course examines a range of factors that impact our ability to lead change effectively, especially during challenging times. Participants will explore how the human response and the human experience during change impacts both those who are leading the change and those who are experiencing it.

The phases and strategies involved in complex organizational change are examined, including the leader’s possible roles in facilitating change, and the actions likely to be effective in such situations. Participants are provided with practical tools to help them effect change and lead themselves and others through the transition. During the session, participants learn and apply a variety of leadership lenses to understand how change efforts impact themselves, those they lead, and their organization. Participants apply their learning to create a change leadership action plan that incorporates critical management steps and leadership approaches.
