  • Betty-Ann Heggie Womentorship Foundation

    Womentorship

    The Betty-Ann Heggie Womentorship Foundation has worked in partnership with Edwards School of Business since 2009. Research shows that nearly every successful woman will say that she benefited from mentorship while navigating the labyrinth of her career. Thanks to Betty-Ann Heggie's generous financial support and donated time, the Edwards School of Business has a program to help University of Saskatchewan graduates find personal and professional fulfillment while helping companies keep women actively engaged in their organizations. The Betty-Ann Heggie Womentorship Program matches 25 Protégés with Womentors annually starting in October and concluding in April. Learn More

  • Destination Leadership

    Destination Leadership

    Since fall of 2015, Edwards has partnered to host Certified Coach Training with Shana Ring (Founder, PCC, Master Certified Facilitator, and EXPEDITION Coaching® Faculty) through Destination Leadership. Destination Leadership takes participants coaching skills to new heights with becoming a Certified Coach, aligning with the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) core competencies. The 5-day Certified Coach Program is hosted twice annually in Saskatoon by Edwards Executive Education. Learn more

  • Gardiner Centre, Faculty of Business Admin, Memorial University

    Gardiner

    The Gardiner Centre, an outreach arm of the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University has been a partner of Edwards Executive Education since spring of 2014. The Digital & Social Media program was developed in consultation with and is facilitated by Lyle Wetsch, an associate professor of marketing at Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration. Wetsch has been on the leading edge of the digital revolution for the past 10 years and has received global commendations for his work in social media. The program is composed of three core multi-day training programs (each with six modules, over 3 days) and is offered throughout the year. Learn more

  • Grandey Leadership Initiative

    Grandey

    In June 2011, the Edwards School received a $1,000,000 gift from then Cameco Chief Executive Officer Jerry Grandey. The gift – a combined donation from Jerry and Tina Grandey and a legacy gift from Cameco Corporation – is directed toward a variety of objectives at the Edwards School of Business including promoting the awareness and importance of leadership in the community. Each year Executive Education partners with the committee to present the Grandey Leadership Luncheon to provoke and enhance discussions on good leadership contexts and organizations, and to announce the Grandey Leadership Honouree.   • Institute of Corporate Directors

    ICD

    Since bringing the ICD-Rotman Director’s Education Program to Saskatchewan in 2015, Edwards hosts a partnership with The Institute of Corporate Directors whom represent the interests of directors — to foster excellence in directors to strengthen the governance and performance of Canadian corporations and organization. ICD strives to lead and demonstrate the value of excellence in directorship and enlightens directors to anticipate, influence, and meet boardroom challenges.  Since the launch of the DEP, over 4,500 directors have completed the program, taking the first step towards acquiring their ICD.D designation. In addition to the DEP Program, Edwards also offers the Not-for-Profit Program developed by ICD and Rotman, biennial. Learn more

  • Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy

    JSGS

    In 2013, Edwards School of Business and Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy joined together to develop the Labour-Management Relations Certificate program. An intensive 5-day program intended for union representatives, human resource and labour relations managers, consultants, neutrals, and people who operate in unionized environments. This program is offered annually each fall and is fully subscribed with over 25 participants from across Canada. Learn more

    One of Edwards School of Business newer partnerships, established in 2015, Levene GSB offers a variety of program options that no matter what your interest or career path, they will take you to the next level. This partnership is the result of two Dean’s working towards a common goal of bringing the premiere Directors Education Program (DEP), jointly developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management to the Saskatchewan market. The Saskatchewan DEP program now runs annually with modules shared between both cities. Learn more

The Director’s Education Program focuses on Better your skills.     Schulich

    Edwards’ longest standing partnership since 2004, Schulich Executive Education Centre is the strategic business unit of the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. Their role within the school is to provide lifelong learning for the development of professionals and executives long after their full-time education has been completed and they are in the work force. We partner with Schulich, Registered Education Provider through Project Management Institute (PMI), on four different programs run throughout the year in both Regina and Saskatoon including these 3-day courses: The Project Management Course, The Business Analyst’s Course, Finance for the Non-Financial Manager, and the popular 18-day, 9-module Masters Certificate in Project Management Program.   • Supply Chain Management Association

    The University of Saskatchewan has been a partner with the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) since fall of 2012. In response to a prevailing market demand for skilled supply chain management practitioners, Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) developed the Supply Management Training Program. This program consists of a series of technical courses, workshops and seminars. You can take a single course, workshop or seminar or complete all program requirements to be eligible to receive a Diploma in Supply Management. At Edwards, we offer the Technical Courses one in fall and one winter term annually, which include (13 sessions per course) in four topic areas: procurement, logistics, transportation, and operations management.     Humphrey

    The Humphrey Group (THG) and the Edwards School of business established a new partnership in early 2017. THG teaches communication skills exclusively through the lens of leadership and teach leadership – specifically as it can be demonstrated through communication. Edwards delivers THG’s flagship 2-Day program, Speaking as a Leader®, as part of the communications category. Speaking as a Leader® create leaders who inspire action every time they speak by enabling participants to speak as polished, inspirational leaders in every interaction. Learn more
