Finance Team places Second at SFU Case Competition

The Edwards Finance Team of Riley Arguin, John Irwin, and Brian Ng won second place at Simon Fraser University's Finance International Case Competition (FICC). Queen's University placed first and University of Hawaii was third.  The team was coached by Brian Lane, Craig Wilson and Zhenyu Wu. This is a great achievement by our finance students and shows the strength of the training received in the Edwards School of Business!

About FICC

Simon Fraser University's Finance International Case Competition (FICC) is the largest event of its kind in Canada and one of the largest undergraduate finance competitions in the world. FICC attracts some of the brightest business students from around the world and the quality of the proposals are of the highest calibre. This year's event took place at SFU's Segal Graduate School of Business in downtown Vancouver, where they welcomed participants from across North America, Asia and Europe, as well as corporate partners from leading financial institutions, such as CIBC, GE Capital and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
