A comprehensive preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam

 

The Ultimate Project Management Professional Essentials: Fast Track Program takes a comprehensive view of "the total project," from the planning and organizational stages to the actual implementation stage with special emphasis placed on control and continuous improvement. A project is any unique undertaking which requires a special organization and has stated objectives in terms of scope, time and cost. This course will provide the necessary information to participants enabling them the ability to pass the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam. 

Program Structure and Dates

All participant materials will be provided through Canvas. Program learning will be delivered virtually through Zoom.

In order to use Zoom, participants are required to have access to a computer/laptop with sound capabilities (speakers and microphone) and a built-in camera or webcam. Participants can also join the webinar by phone. All phone numbers and access IDs will be provided. Participants should also have access to a quiet and private space for learning.

Instructor Profile

Doug Boebinger is the founder and Chief Project Management Consultant and Trainer for Integrated Process Developers, Inc. (IPDI).  He holds over 35 years profit and loss experience in project management and process re-engineering. Doug obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) in 1994 and has taught PMP Prep courses to thousands of people in numerous organizations across the world since then. As the lead project management consultant to Ford Motor Company Powertrain Global Division, Doug created the MAPD® Strategy which is a revolutionary new project/process planning and execution strategy specifically designed for multi-team environments.

Doug has spent his career assisting companies in various industries as a project manager and as a consultant and trainer to implement project management and improve their organization’s processes.  A current or former adjunct faculty member at various universities across the United States and Canada, Doug was the Project Management Department Chair and developer of the Bachelor of Science Project Management degree curriculum at Cleary University.

He developed over 40 courses on project management, leadership and communications topics that have been taught to thousands of people from entry-level to C level in numerous organizations, companies, and governments around the world.

Cancellation

University of Saskatchewan's liability is limited to reimbursement of paid tuition fees.

Cancellations received at least fifteen (15) business days in advance of the course commencement date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than fifteen (15) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to a $1200 administration fee. Cancellations received less than five (5) business days prior to the course commencement date will be subject to full course tuition cost.

Non-attendance will incur full course tuition cost.

Program Transfers

One course transfer will be permitted without penalty if the cancellation request is received more than fifteen (15) business days prior to the course start date. Program transfers within fifteen (15) business days of the course start date will be subject to a $300 administration fee. All collateral (textbook, etc) must be returned to Edwards Executive Education before the transfer will be processed.

Alternate program transfers may be approved dependent on course availability. Transfer requests must be scheduled within six (6) months of the initial purchase.

Applicants will be responsible for any price difference in program fees at the time of the request. Each subsequent transfer request will be subject to $300 administration fee.
