- Understand Your Style: Use DiSC to gain greater insight into working styles, how motivators and stressors may influence engagement with others, and adapt more individualized approaches in various HR relevant scenarios such as collaborating with and influencing leaders.
- Apply Key Leadership Tools: Explore various concepts, models, and tools, including emotional intelligence, psychological safety, leadership styles, motivation, and the elements of high performing teams, and how they can be used by HR both proactively, and to diagnose issues to support leaders, teams, and organizations.
- Explore Unconscious Bias: Review types of unconscious bias, identify ways in which biases may influence how people engage with others and influence decisions made in organizations, and how to use this knowledge to better support leaders and teams in working environments.

Rick Reid, PME, BComm, CPHR Rick Reid is a human resources professional with over twenty-five years of experience in a variety of strategic advisory and leadership positions in both public and private sector organizations. Rick has a Bachelor of Commerce, a Professional Master of Education, a CPHR designation, and is a Certified Leadership Coach. Rick has worked in a number of industries including education, health care, local government and energy services, and in his work facilitating with Executive Education, engages with participants and organizations across all industries. His career has primarily focused in the areas of employee and labour relations, and employee learning and development. His experience has centered in conducting workplace investigations, conflict engagement, leadership development, performance management, and leading organizational HR change initiatives. Rick values opportunities to connect with leaders and teams through facilitating training and development activities that support their work towards individual professional development goals, and in building cohesive, high performing teams. |
