Biography
Jonathan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. Jonathan joined the Edwards School of Business in 2025. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. During his doctoral studies, Jonathan spent a year as a visiting PhD student at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Prior to his doctoral studies, Jonathan worked as an internal audit manager at Loblaw Companies Ltd. and as an Assurance Senior in the Financial Services Organizations Group at EY Toronto. He is also a member of CPA Saskatchewan and CPA Ontario.

Teaching
Jonathan has taught undergraduate accounting courses at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Waterloo. He currently teaches the following courses:
