My name is Courage Bear, and I am the Manager of Indigenous Engagement at BHP.
Why does BHP like to participate in the Edwards School of Business MBA internship?
BHP takes part in the Edwards School of Business Co-operative Education Program to build strong relationships with local institutions and organizations in the communities where we operate. This program also allows us to connect with potential future employees and gain access to talented students who can contribute to our potash projects and overall business.
What has the experience been like working with Paul and previous interns?
Our experience working with Paul and previous intern students has been fantastic. These students come to us with a level of eagerness, youthfulness, and a new way of thinking that is irreplaceable. They're always looking to learn new things and challenge themselves and their abilities, so I think it's been a great opportunity for both sides.
What is Paul currently contributing to in his role at BHP?
Paul is currently contributing to BHP in a positive way because he's very eager to get involved in any way he can. He brings a skill set that fits well with the team. He participates in many ways, whether it be preparing for community events, leading initiatives, or day-to-day business activities.
How has Paul grown over the course of the internship?
Paul has shown tremendous growth during his time at BHP. His confidence has significantly increased, allowing him to take initiative, lead projects, and work independently without the need for constant supervision. He is highly motivated, committed to delivering high-quality work, and has become a valuable member of the team. Additionally, his positive attitude and strong team dynamic make him a great fit within our group.
